Germany, Luftwaffe. A Pilot and Observer Badge, Cloth Version Auction named to Lorenzmeier as an(Flugzeugfhrer und Beobachterabzeichen, Stoffausfhrung). Constructed of padded dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered golden yellow laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a swooping silver grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse retaining an intact black cotton rayon backer, unmarked, measuring 82 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in uniform removed and extremely fine condition.
