Germany, Wehrmacht. A Shooting Lanyard Shield, Grade 9 Newly Listed constructed of a smooth dark(Schtzenschnur Abzeichen). Constructed of gilded aluminum, with all four reverse attachment prongs intact, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, topped by a Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, with a central pebbled shield bearing crossed swords, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 57 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
