Rodgersia podophylla 'Rotlaub', Rodger's Flower chaparral Shiny green and yellow leaves'Rotlaub' (red leaf) has dark chocolate brown to coppery red leaves (similar in shape to that of chestnut leaves) making this one of the best foliage plants for moist shade. Three foot tall stems terminate in a creamy white, flowery plume. It's slow to propagate but the drama it creates makes it all worthwhile.
