It was introduced in 1942 and features a front pad and leader neck flap that forms a double chinstrap

due in part to the firm's inability or unwillingness to convert to newer mass-production methods

Excellent complete three pad leather liner, with all pads still present and Japanese ink markings in excellent condition. Original tie down chinstrap. Original paint with minor wear. Inside of shell nicely marked with original paint.
