This is a fine 30 1 2" blade with single fuller and etching of floral patterns and shield with an arrow on right, left side with American eagle and riband E. Pluribus Unum. No visible makers mark. Elaborate cast and chased bronze hilt with fierce eagle pommel. Raised relief eagle on langets. Magnificent and elaborate carved and checkered bone grip. Brass scabbard has two hangers.
