Constructed from hardened thermoplastic. This cap is intended to keep out dust and debris but NOT intended to hold pressure as it features a weep hole in the center nut and does not have a gasket. May be used in some dry hydrant applications and to cover other non pressurized openings with 4 1 2" NH NST threads.
