The front with the stone can be opened and you can put something into the ring. Not poison I hope! : ) The ring is surrounded with intricate silver work. The back of the ring is solid and flat. The closure of the locket works just great and securely. At the moment it's a ring size 8. 5. The size can sligthly be adjusted with some muscle work. Measurements are:
