The wooden grips are installed over two hollow steel tubes designed to function as oil and solvent bottles. The bottles are closed and externally threaded at the bottom to screw into the lower grip support. The lower end is provided with two recesses for a spanner wrench if removal is necessary. The upper end is threaded internally to accept a cap.
