This is magnificent and looks almost untouched, even though it has been completely cleaned. It features a classic "banana" shaped lock plate of totally classic German "angular" style, which is marked POTZDAM MAGAZ. It is also marked D S E on the edge of the lock plate. Many muskets produced is during the mid late 18th century in Potsdam were marked as such during the reign of the Prussian King Frederick the Great,
