Casualty Attractive original tone20652 Private George Wale, Born 1895, saw service in the Balkan campaign from 8 9 15 and was discharged wounded (Gunshot wound reported 6 5 16) in March 1917. He is entitled to the Silver War Badge. His name is spelt Wall on the star and Wale on the BWM and Victory. One of those not uncommon mix ups and as a result he has two medal index cards. These also confirm service in the Pay Corps (Re enlisted 4 1 18). He was finally demobilised in December
