The clumps are adorned with terminal spikes of soft yellow tubular flowers that just top the foliage from late summer through fall

followed by green seed pods that bend toward the ground as the berries ripen to shiny metallic black

they will need daily water for a couple of weeks

The vigorous, long flowering Verbena 'Texas Appleblossom' has large flowers of cotton candy pink (RHS 57C D) with a contrasting, dramatic white eye attractive to hummingbirds. The flowers fade from bright pink to white, creating a stunning effect this verbena really grabs the attention of visitors to our garden.
