This is a vintage, original, never issued WWII Army Air Force silk Airman's 2 sided color "escape" chart map which is dated 1945. The war in the Pacific still was drawing closer to a nuclear response and Japans unconditional surrender. It is double sided and measures 30 inches high by 34 inches wide. It reads AAF CLOTH CHART at the top center and titled: NO. C 52 JAPAN AND SOUTH CHINA SEAS and shows eastern China,
