Military Knives, Bayonets and Machetes, Book III by M. H. Cole, this machete was manufactured by the Cruver Manufacturing Company. The Machete was unmarked with the intention of not to divulge the country of origin if captured by enemy forces. The machete is believed to have been made for the OSS, with the intention of them to be used in the Philippines in the hands of irregular
