but unfortunately have lost their leather pull tabs

Each is marked BATE on the lock plates and BATE LONDON on the barrels

This wonderful example is finely signed on the tang with the name of the maker

It is constructed from dark blue green blended webbing material as seen on other period German WWII field gear. The stitching is all solid, and the leather is worn but functional, however there is a tear almost through one of the belt loops. The other belt loop has very faint stamped markings that we cannot read,
