Each section of the Dutch East Indies produced the traditional Kris Daggers but each district

you can choose between a Windus Pattern 1771 Bannister Rail Stock (also known as the Pattern 1796 India Pattern Brown Bess Stock) or a 1808 Pattern stock

and had a poor view of the French - the old enemy and an unreliable ally

It has seen much better days unfortunately

Wonderful condition M1938 dispatch map case with shoulder strap. Nicely stamped U. S. on front and marked on the reverse: KROEHLER 42 All inner compartments are intact with no damage, lift the dot snaps function perfectly. A really nice map case from the early war period in Khaki.
