Hosta Lakeside Spellbinder Thrillers Each slow growing 2' wide

Each slow growing 2' wide clump is topped with 3' tall scapes of near-white flowers in very late summer

It's possibly a dwarf form of Hymenocallis rotata

(Plant Patent 7297 expired) Agapanthus 'Ellamae'

but unfortunately we have been unable to track down its origin

This delightful dwarf ginger lily was a 1966 discovery in the Dudh Kosi Valley

Hosta Lakeside Spellbinder Thrillers Each slow growing 2' wideThis hybrid from the prolific Mary Chastain makes an attractive, 30" wide clump of very dark green, oval leaves, each highlighted by a creamy yellow center. Despite the bright center, this has proven to be a very good grower. The clumps are topped with 5' tall scapes of near white flowers in early summer.
