This is a genuine WWII Era license plate from the Fort Bragg U. S. Army Base, located in North Carolina. Originally established as "Camp Bragg" in 1918 as an artillery training ground, it was nearly closed in 1921. It was saved however, and renamed Fort Bragg in 1922, with permanent buildings added quickly. It then proceeded to become a major training center. By 1940, during World War II, the population of Fort Bragg had
