Saxony, Kingdom. An Albert Order, Commander’s Cross, by G.A. Scharffenberg Newly Listed topped by a Luftwaffe eagle(Albrechtsorden Komturkreuz). Instituted 31 December 1850 by King Friedrich August II. (1850 1918 issue). Constructed of gilded silver with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Latin Cross with white enameled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath executed in green enamels with brown enameled acorns, the obverse overlaid by a central white enameled medallion bearing a raised and gilded profile of Duke Albert III, surrounded
