Constructed of bronze, of multi piece composition, the lid bearing an etched Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of RUSSLAND DOKUDOVA, 1944, one side bearing an etched fish, opening with a functional hinge to reveal a plain interior, unmarked, measuring 82 mm (w) x 92 mm (l) x 24 mm (h), one side of the hinge has broken, in overall better than very fine condition.
