This is a very nice condition example of an early war produced Type I version of the legendary Luftwaffe Fallschirmjger Messer, or German air force paratrooper knife (FJM or FKm). This example had both the front and back of the blade entirely resurfaced at some point, which unfortunately wore around the original maker markings, which were only etched on and easily removed. Due to this we are unable to determine the
