This is a very nice set of German Holzschuhen (Wooden Shoes or Clogs), which are painted a lovely blue color, with a white interior. They were acquired as a souvenir during the war, and personalized on the interiors. The right clog reads BATTLE FOR FRANCE 1944, around the "Indianhead" Insignia of the U. S. Army 2nd
